i have a suzuki vision 500 quadomatic not to sure of the year but it is between 2001-2007 it is belt driven, it runs but u have to rev it right out to get it to move,took it apart and the belt seems to be in good shape,and also backfires in reverse with no power...can anyone help? thanks

 

Well the reverse rev limiter, I am pretty sure of that. But you are gonna have to give a little more detail on having to rev it right out to go forward. I mean you are gonna have to rev the motor to get it to go. But if you have to rev it real high that's different. How high???

 

i have to push the throttle over halfway,it has to be in low range in order for it to move and high range it will barely move
