2001 Quadrnr + electric fence = dead? Help please :(
I have a 2001 suzuki quadrunner 160. My sons 1st attempt to ride it and he drove it into the electric braid horse fence. Now, even though it is in neutral, the green "neutral" does not come on and starter makes no sound and does not turn the engine.
What electrical is on this the fence has probably shocked and blown out?
Any idea how much the part is and would it be hard for an amature to replace?
Thanks for any advice.

More help needed please. Ok, I finally got time to check it out. The fuse is fine. The problem was the terminal on the end of the battery wire was rusty and the (+) terminal wire broke off where it attaches to the battery post. So I need to get a new terminal and attach it to the end of the wire.
HERE'S MY QUESTION:
The battery post is the weirdest battery post I've ever seen. It is like a square with holes in each side. So I try to take the screw out of the top, but it is impossible! It goes thru the post and has a nut on the bottom. I've tried jamming a screw driver in the hole to hold the nut still so I can remove the screw, but the nut just spins and so I cannot get the screw loose (and the hole in the post are too small to get a wrench into).
Could someone please tell me the secret holding the nut inside the post so the screw can be removed?
Thanks

Being the bolt is inside the "Box", even a new bolt would be hard to tighten as you cannot grip it.
Surely there is a prescribed way to undo these things. I don't know why they couldn't make the terminals simple like a car battery!
Thanks
