Check the valve lash too. Could be the exhaust valve not closing completely when everything warms up.

Question: does the fuel/air mix screw regulate how much fuel goes into the bowl? a friend with the same unit said his did the same thing and like h0ndadude362 said to adjust the screw to get more fuel to flow into bowl at WOT? does this make sense to anyone?

I just checked petcock and when i pulled the vacuum line it was dry but when i pulled the fuel line off fuel was coming out no matter what position it was on.. would fuel still trickle out when its on "res" or "on"? its not coming out fast but its still tricklein..I really dont want to pay 100$ for a petcock if i dont have to..im going to try to adjust fuel/air screw before i pull carb.The quad has a 150 jet i was told and K&N filter with lid off also aftermarked slip on exhaust.. is it possible for someone to tell me about how many turns out for fuel/air screw?

Regarding the plugs...the size of the plugs are all the same. The lower the number the colder the plug. The higher the number...the hotter the plug.

So...

CR7E = Colder
CR8E = Mid
CR9E = Hotter

IMHO...Might want to start in the middle...and see how it goes. Hope this helps...

Essentially the fuel/air mix screw is to FINE tune the fuel/air. It is not meant to radical adjust the carb. For that...adjusting the jets is recommended.

FIXED!!!!!! Well i put on a new petcock and went wide open up the street and it still had its little fit i limped it home and tried to drain the bowl and barely any fuel came out!! so i said screw it and took carb off to check it out..Come to find out the needle for the float was clogged with crap to the point i was barely able to even blow air through it..I took it off cleaned the needle and its port and BAM no more stalling!! did like 6 runs up and down the street and didnt stall once!!
