My fuel is new and I believe my timing is right. How do you set the valve lash? And I got towed by a truck and was able to start it but I cant kickstart it and it didn't rev to good

Make sure the notches are horizontal to the head. Make sure your at tdc. When the cam Notches are horizontal make sure the cam lobes for Intake and exhaust are down. Set both valve lashes. Intake- .02 exhaust .04..if your at tdc and you she lash when te lobes are up it will fight itself am run like a pile and you'll hear a ticking like the valve I hitting the piston!!! Not good! I've been threw all these problems with my overbore and cam swap!

We'll the flat head screw on the cam ten is losend that means the spring releases the pressure on the cam chain guides after I got my cam and gears and all that back on then I put the tensioner back in and I'm pretty sure it self adjusts but I never unscrewed that screw just took the bolts out
