Default Suzuki 2007 Eiger QUAD Runner

We bought this from a another guy said his buddy rode it for a while and came back being pulled by another fourwheeler. we have cleaned the carb and change the spark plug and have a new air filter ordered it turns over but doesnt start any ideas to try to help us to get this started. Trying not to take it to the shop and they charge us an arm and leg to fix if anyway possible.. thanks

If you know your carb jets are unobstructed and the carb is getting fuel, the next thing I would check is if the spark plug is getting spark. Pull the spark plug(s) from the motor and attatch the plug wire to it and place the plug on the side of the motor for ground. (Don't touch the plug while testing.) Turn the key on (assuming you have a good battery in it) and press the start button. At the spark plug you should see a blue spark while cranking. If you have spark, then remove the spark plug from the wire and put your finger on the spark plug hole and try to crank the motor. You should feel pressure trying to push your finger off. If not then you have a compression problem. There are so many things that could be the problem I can't put them all in one post. Let's start with what I have mentioned and work from there. More symptoms of what is or is not happening would be helpful if possible.
