Smile Need more Suggestions to fix high Idle!

This is my wife's 2006 King Quad 700, has 2,100 easy trail ridden miles on it..it developed a high idle last summer & its annoying. I've done a few things..I checked for codes & there is none..COO on digital readout. It idles high from start up and never comes down, even when warm..I understand this is somewhat a common problem.. I reset the TPS using the recommended method..nothing changes..I tried to remove the Idle control model, but did not have the right tools to get at it. ( ATV is 600 miles away at cabin) I checked the vacuum hoses, and connections..all good..stopped at dealer and service tech said You can turn the screw on the throttle body a little..I've not seen that screw he is talking about..& he said on the handlebar, there is a screw you can adjust for play..I have a 4 day trip there in a few days, & would like to zero in on the problem as soon as possible..your response and experience how you fixed yours would be very welcomed! I found a used Idle contril module for $25.00 & for that I could just buy it..or are used electronic stuff just junk..new they are abut 4150.00..also thinking about selling it & updating to the new 750 EPS later this year...thanks for any suggestions!!!!!!!
