Hey guys, Im looking to get a 2006 ltr450 and was wondering what some of the major problems are? also what should i look for when i go to look at it? and how should i make sure the engine is in good condition?

Also, how is the atv in general ? is it reliable? how is it to ride?

Like all 450s they have the performance 450 Motocross motor in them and will need a rebuild after so many hours.

You do not get 45hp out of 450cc without paying the piper.

If you want 45hp with reliability look for a 700 Raptor. Same power but unlike the 450s the 700 can make it lazily.

i really like the raptor 700 too but where i am, most of them are going for $4500 and up and im getting the ltr450 for around $2000
