Default lt185 gas shooting out of primer hole?

I got this lt185 running (and dies once I hold the clutch or compression/decompression handle in) anyways while its idiling gas starts coming out of the hole provided in the picture.. Is this normal if there is too much gas or is it a gasket thing? Does this also mean the carb is getting flooded too? If I have the fuel **** set to off, only very little comes out, once I set the fuel **** is turn to on position it comes out like a steady stream.

I took the carb off, and brought it with me home (atv is at a friends house) and the carb looks clean from a quick inspection.

Could just be a needle and seat or float level off that might be causing it,but just my two cents on any carb that I had to take off got a new carb kit. Here's the best Japanese oem quality replacement kits around.Shindy Carb Carburetor Repair Kit for Suzuki LT185 84 87 03 217 | eBay Kit doesn't include the primer diaphragm if it's leaking as it's an oem online or dealer part. Again may just be the carb kit needed or the diaphragm or both.Suzuki Priming Set Lt 125 185 Alt 125 185 13234 18910 | eBay

I just inspected the carb, and the carb was clean, I still ran carb cleaner though, the diaphragm to the primer was cracked and has a hole in it. Looks like I just need to replace the primer.
