Hi, I have a 2006 King Quad 700 with a warn winch. I've been trying to troubleshoot an inoperable winch and thought it's time to reach out for Internet wisdom. I've cleaned and checked the leads at my winch and relay. And now I've replaced the relay and still no dice.

When I push the in / out switch the relay makes a loud thunk sound and it seems pretty clear there is some kind of overload / short. The dash blanks out until I release the switch. I can post a video if that helps.

Is the problem in my winch? If so, any ideas what to do next?
