Grizzly or King Quad
#11
OH, I did not know the Grizzly also has EPS. If he is also installing a Warn winch which is a $500 job plus its one year newer that makes the KQ just $400 to $300 in advantage not $1000.
The year newer may just come in handy if you sell it down the road. Tuffer call.

It depends on how long you plan on keeping it. If its going to be around a long time, it doesn't matter much. After a few years, I doubt it would matter whether it was a 2015 or 2016. Look at used quads now. Does it really matter if its a 2005 or 2006 model? The condition matters more than if its one model year newer. It really only matters if there was a significant change in that one year, like if the newer year was the first year of eps or efi or more power, for example. A 2007 Grizzly 700 eps will sell for more than a 2006 Grizzly 660 for example because 2007 was the first year of eps and the more powerful 700 efi engine.

I would plan on keeping this quad as I already have a 2013 polaris 550 xp and it is smooth but I have concerns about the reliability in the future and would like to try something with more power so I started looking at the suzuki and yamaha with reliability and durability in mind.

I would let price decide and take the KQ , both are nice reliable ATVs with no advantage over each other . but in this case the KQ win in price. $500 savings if you buy /install a winch and $1000 if you don't . You can buy nice tires with the savings.
