2004 Z400 Wont move in gear

Default 2004 Z400 Wont move in gear

Installed a new clutch put it back together and now it won't move even in gear. clutch moves when pulling lever in. What did i do wrong when putting it back together? It was fine before i took old clutch out? Help Please.

Did you install all the plates in the proper order? Use the same number of plates?

Put them all back in the same way they came out I believe

This sounds like you reused the old ones? I'm guessing that isn't what you meant though. What exactly is the machine doing when you try to move it?

The problem was that the kit I ordered only came with 7 plates and 8 fibers. Which is what an 03 has. Mines an 04 and it has 9 fibers and 8 plates. Added 2 old ones in and problem sold

Sad part is that I ordered it for an 04

could be your clutch cable adjustment i replaced my clutch on my warrior 350 the other day and had to mess with the adjustment before i got it to work
