Default Winch Runs great when Eiger is off

My Badlands winch runs great with the ATV off and the key in the on position.
Now if I start my Eiger 400 then my badlands winch works very slowly.
I assume there is some kind of voltage issue but not sure why??

Shouldn't the voltage be better when the Eiger is running?
What would do this?

(Btw I bought a new winch and it does the same thing as the old one. In addition it all used to work fine until one snowy day it started this problem)

I don't know what the problem could be but I like to have my ATV running while winching because it has more power available and won't drain the battery. Yours seem to be working the opposite way.

Yesterday I measured the voltage across the battery leads.
12.2 volts normal with atv off. When I start the atv the voltage is 13.8 as it should be for an atv charging its battery. When I use the winch the voltage drops significantly. It seems the winch solenoid is bad but this is a new winch solenoid. The old one was doing exactly the same thing. So how would it be the solenoid?

You have it wired wrong....or you have a short or bad connection in your charging system on your machine.
