Hi,
I was wondering if any body has info on the new sport quad from suzuki on what it would look like,when it would be coming out,will it have reverse,how much horse power will it put out,how fast will it go,how much ccs will it have.If any one has any info it would be great because right now i'm saving up for the raptor,but I would definately buy the new sport quad because I've always been a big fan of Suzuki!!!!!

Chances are no one knows with 100% certainty, but look for a 400 CC L/C 4stroke with reverse and electric start and weigh in the 390 to 400 LB range and make about 30ish HP.

 

According to my local Suzuki dealer, they don't know a thing. Apparently there is a Suzuki dealer's meeting in July in Reno and they will know something then. I tried to find info about this meeting on the web but couldn't find anything. Anyone else know about it? I only believe these things unless it's an official announcement. Not when someone hears it from their friend's dad's grandma's hair stylist who once knew this guy in Saudia Arabia that during the Gulf War shot up some Iraqis who happened to work in a Suzuki plant back in Japan while planting a bomb in the engineering department and saw some blue prints of a new 4-stroke quad with reverse, electric start, and weighed whatever that anti 4-stroke moron said in the other post even though 4-strokes are winning in the GNC's against 2-strokes.

 

Its wierd how simple stated facts can draw ignorant comments.Nowhere did I say the bike is going to suck and your a moron for wanting it, but it will be an electric start 4stroke 400cc DRZ motor and it will weigh atleast 390 pounds, would anyone care to wager on that fact?If thats what you want so be it, that your choice, and preferring a 2stroke doesn't make you "anti 4stroke".

Take a deep breath and calm down.So what am I wrong about? Are you saying it will be kick start? Ooh then it will tire you out too much, the market isn't ready for that, better be electric start.So it won't have reverse? What about how tired it would make you on a trail ride when you have to turn around? Gonna have the little switch so you won't get tired.So Suzuki is going to develop a new high performance 4stroke along the lines of the YZ426 and debut it in a quad? Hell no, it will use the DRZ400 motor.So what exactly don't I know?

 

Shall I go into some of the other threads and quote what you have said in the past to prove that I am not ignorant? I really don't feel like wasting my time doing that. Don't act like your some poor misunderstood person. That doesn't work with me. I believe the future does not hold any comeback high performance 2-strokes. Almost every quad I have owned has been a 2-stroke but I still welcome 4-strokes. Especially in this day and age when they are equally, and even more competetive that 2-stroke racers. Many people in the motocross world are crying cause the YZ250F and YZ426F are kicking major butt. When they first came out, people laughed like you do now but all of a sudden when they beat the 2-strokers, they whine and don't want them racing in their class anymore.

But, you've proven you're a close minded person so I don't expect to sway your opinion. But, you could give those who do want a DRZ400 motored quad with reverse and electric start a break. Stop talking like we can like whatever we want and then tell us that what we want is stupid. Everytime people like to speculate what might be coming down the road, you don't have to chime in how it's going to be some boring 4-stroke that will never be a "racer.". We've heard what you think too many times already and don't really care to hear it over and over. You should have picked this up in some of the other posts but you're ego must suffer unless you get the last word in. I'll be waiting your response so you can feel better about yourself when mommy tucks you into bed and reads a story to you.

Guido, what Exactly have I said in my other posts?I'm not "laughing" at any 4strokes and the DRZ is a far cry from the 426.I've had expierience with the YZF for years now, this aint nothin new to me.If you want an Electric start DRZ quad, once again so be it, but it won't be a racer plain and simple.Oh that doesn't work with you? I guess I better get another angle huh?I don't know you or really even care what you think, so I wouldn't "try" anything with you, I'm not here to spare your, or anyone elses feelings.In my post on this topic what exactly did I say that was insulting, close minded, or "made you feel stupid"?
