lt 250 hp

Yeah 35HP seems about right for a later model LT with those mods. I really would recommend a Paul Turner heavily over the FMF pipe for LT250R's. Before I traded my LT250R for my TRX250R I tried the Paul Turner, FMF and FTZ hand rolled pipe. For a stock ported motor the paul turner is better by far. For a ported motor the FTZ was better than the others but only because it had more top end than the Paul turner and more pull than the FMF. The LT250R FMF pipe was really a sorry pipe in my opinion . They make great pipes for TRX250R's so don't think I am bashing FMF just wanted to say I think their pipe for that model is only mediocre at best.

Well I never owned one so I really can't give you the lowdown on Allen's pipe for the LT250R. I have raced a CT quadracer before and the guy who owned the bike liked the power. The FTZ hand rolled is the best pipe if you want to race it and plan on getting porting(FTZ porting). The Paul Turner works GREAT with a stock motor and if you have a quick left foot,It can holeshot for the first 100ft against alot of fully modified 250R's and almost all banshee's (first 100ft that is, then you get run down), but a MX race the start to the first turn is rarely longer than that anyway.
I think the CT pipe will probably be more of a top end pipe which would make it better if ported for that but the Paul Turner is best if you want a fast reliable bike that doesn't need top-ends on a regular basis(i.e. stock).
