Anybody have a KQ not go in super low?The reason I am asking is I just bought one that would not. After pulling the side case it looks like one of the locking slider gears was put in backwards,I think. Not having a real good detailed break down of all these makes me wonder. After switching it it all seems to work, but then again this is my first time messing with a KQ.Oh I bought this quad from impound and someone had allready taken it apart.

If it works now then you must have fixed the problem. My problem always seemed to be the linkage. Once I made the 4-wheel lock in any gear mod it seemed to shift a lot easier. I've never had any of the covers off.

Go to www.bikebandit.com for some drawings that may help you. It's a parts place but the drawing are from a parts manual and sometimes it will help when your tring to put something back together.

Good Luck,

Rob

I ordered a new side cover & factory repair manual to day,so in 4 or 5 days I will know more.I talked to the mec at the dealer he was not much help,he also said the same thing that I must have fixed it.I work on cars for a living & don't like to take chances, parts cost too much. Thanks for the help.

As Rob, said, it was hard some times to go into super low on mine also. I had to gas it a little to get the gears to mesh. But after I switched to super low in any gear, it works very well now. Hope that helps.
