how reliable is the lt 230 and what other stock atv will a stock 230 beat in various challenges

whats the difference between the 230 quadsport and the 230 quadracer

There is no quadracer 230, it is a 250, and they are worlds apart. The quadsport is a fun reliable entry quad, it is a little slower than a blaster or 250X, they also have reverse. The quadracer has twice the power and suspension.

 

Where did you come up with LT230 Quadracer? Anyway for begginers the 230's were good just watch out for the chain putting a whole in the left cover on the engine

 

He obviously means the LT230 Quadrunner, and not the LT230 Quadracer, which doesn't exist.
Well, since I have a '93 LT230 Quadrunner, I can tell you a little about it.

differences between Quadrunner/ Sport:
-The Quadrunner has electric start, which the Quadsport doesn't have.
-The Quadrunner has automatic clutch, Quadsport doesn't.
-The Quadrunner is geared differently (I heard)

some things they have in common:
-Nice triple disc brakes
-Reliable engine
-UNreliable rear end (chain gets thrown off when bearings are worn)
(chain is hard to adjust(at least with my quad) )
-As fast as a Blaster (top speed, not acceleration!), with a 13front sprocket, that is.
-Fun to drive, agile (very light quad)
-Easy to wheelie
