Tyres on a wet Moto x Track
#1
Hi guys.
Went to watch the racing at our local Coastal MX track and the weather was soooooo wet. The guys couldnt get one bit of grip! the track was a mud bath in parts and a slimy mess in others. The question i got is would you use a set of mud tyres or even paddles in this situation? All the guys racing were using the standard race tyres (Holeshots, Razrs etc) and they went no where! Im not even sure whether your allowed to use them. Just wondering whether other racers out there have tried this? To give you an idea, one of the guys on a LT500 couldnt make it up the face of one of the jumps! It was a bit of a joke!
