I agree 100% with buying a hand roled pipe, the Trinity and CT pipes are as well. Before I bought my pipe, I called FT, and they said the only pipe they made for the 85s and 86s was a drag pipe. I would give them a call and ask if they are making them now. I know that they are making new pips now that they wern't when I bought mine. Their address is www.FTZRACING.com

Cool DannoLT250R I didn't know that Trinity and CT were made by the same company!

I didn't know that hand rolled pipes produced more power, and flow better! cool

I'm gonna try to get a Quadracer '88 or up next summer(HOPEFULLY) when i get done paying on a vehicle, and save up enough cash! And i'll prolly get a Trinity pipe and silencer as well, they have pretty fair prices ----> $219 for both i think!!!!

GOOD LUCK bdscram1!!!!

Hey bmxatv10,

If you go with an 88 or up racer you might want to check into LRD's adjustable pipe. LRD is pricey on their pipes but, being adjustable for low, mid, and rev is pretty cool.

bdscram1,

I went with the Trinity, it was $219 for the pipe an silencer plus $60 to have it ceramic coated, plus shipping. If you would like I could e-mail you some pics so you can see how it looks and fits. Just let me know.

Danno

My LT is an 86' also so you will see just how it would look on yours.

DannoLT250R, i have checked out the LRD pipe and silencer on Nacs Racing cuz the LRD site was under sonsruction last time i checked and they had the LRD Team Pipe & Silencer for $364.95, so yeah they are a little pricey!

I haven't heard of the adjustable pipe, but that does seem like it would be cool to be able to adjust it for low, mid and rev! But i was thinking you would prolly have to rejet everytime you changed it wouldn't you? Do they have this pipe and silencer on Nac's Racing, i'll look there and i'll go back to LRD's site to see if it is up and running!

Thanx dude

bdscram1,

I'm the moron, sometimes the fingers don't do what the brain tells them to do. Try giving this address a shot. When it comes up, go to view and click on index to show all the thumbnails, makes choosing the pics you want to see much faster.
