Does anybody know if these kit are worth it or not? It seems like alot to pay $100 bucks for a filter and replacement jet.

Thanks!!

You can buy jet kits directly from DynoJet. The K&N filter for my King Quad cost around $40 from Rocky Mountain ATV. $100 seems high unless maybe the filter cleaner and oil and an Outerwear pre-filter are included.

Thanks for the info. I think that kit does contain the pre-filter. Can you describe it and maybe it will sound familiar to me?

Thanks again

The pre-filter I'm thinking of is made by Outerwear and it's a thin nylon (not sure on the type of material) skirt that fits over the K&N filter. It helps keep the K&N filter clean by filtering the dirt/dust before it gets to the paper in the air filter. They're great for dusty conditions, and easy to clean.

I've read in a few places that you should keep the foam filter and not go to paper if you ride in the dust a lot. I think there's a company that makes an aftermarket foam filter too. I can't think of their name right now.

Hope this helps.
