I have an '86 but it has the wide seat on it (t shaped). I noticed in some pics online that the '85-86 looks to come stock with the straight seat. It seems to fit right. Are the rear fenders diffent on the two bikes and do they mount right (the ones that are on the quad are in rough shape so I cant really tell) if you put '87up plastic on?

 

my 87 250r has a Wide" seat too. wen i put on maier low pro rear fenders it looked odd, but i forgot that maier recoimends the 85-86 style seat because it straight and looks better with the low pro fenders.

 

i'm almost positive all seats will fit all years...
