You can get the pipe and silencer for $189.99 form Carbides Moto World, Next choice would be FMF Fatty kit for $269.99 form Parts Direct then Paul Turner kit for $299.99 from Golden West.

I had a DG pipe on my 85 Lt 250R and it seemed ok. Now I have the FMF Fatties on my Banshee and if I were you, Id go with the FMF's. Not to mention, the Paul Turners are WAY over priced...

I have an FMF fatty on my 91' lt250r. It takes a little bit of low end away but from the top of 2nd gear and up it pulls strong. I have heard the paul turner pipe is good too.

If I had a '87 or newer I would consider a LRD adjustable. I have a '86 and went with a Trinity. I have a freind with a DG and he doesn't care for it. It is also on a '86, when we get time he's going to try my old Gradon Proline. The LRD is exspensive but, many people like them. just my $.02

The first modification I did to my '91 lt250r was the fmf fatty pipes and they worked great. Really woke the bike up. The good thing about getting fmf pipes is that they'll tell you what jet sizes to use so you don't have to mess around with that.
