Silencer and Pipe Combo

Yes it is Duncan Racing. They are the best pipes for stock ported engines. Check them out. FasterNU, Bills pipes are also good for bottom end power, I don't know if they make a pipe for the LT250-500R. I know Donny Banks ran them in the late 80's and early nineties with good success. For what I hear they are a good pipe with a big snap on the bottom end.

I currently run an FMF Gold Series on my Zilla with an Answer silencer. I ran it with the stock porting as well as the new modified version. I have been very happy with it. Of course I cannot comment on the Paul Turner or any other pipe/silencer combo since I have not run them.
I have learned that you cannot always believe what the mags or some of the companies say about their products as far as performance, I can only speak from my own experience. I do know that it is a "buyer beware world" good luck with your choice.

LT5001987,
Because I used to own a 1989 LT250R and tried out both of these pipes on my stock engine. You wouldn't notice the difference if you only owned one or the other, I had the chance to compare them against each other. The bottom end wasn't as strong nor the midrange and the only thing better about the FMF was it would rev out a little farther, but in drag races,MX and trail riding the Paul Turner was the better pipe. I am not saying the FMF is a bad pipe I am saying the Paul Turner is a better one on a stock ported engine, because I owned and tried out both of them. After I got my engine ported by RRP, I like the FTZ hand rolled the best, it was stronger in the mid with decent bottom end and would rev very well, compared to the FMF pipe for the LT250R. The Paul Turner's only flaw is that it won't rev out, but on a STOCK ported engine, this is not a problem since the stock LT doesn't make power up top anyway.

I am not 100% sure, I had already cut my front fenders when I was trying out the different pipes. I wish Suzuki had continued selling the LT250R, I miss mine now that it is gone. It had the best seat-footpeg ergonomics of any 4-wheeler ever made, steered extremely well(unlike my squirrely steering '88 250R) and with some more refinements who knows what might have been.
