Z400 vs. 400ex..

the rumor on motorcycle daily is that suzuki is just at the end of testing stages on a RMF racing thumper to compete with the CRF and YZF... maybe they'll get crazy and put that engine in a quad frame eventually to make the new quadracer.
as for the LTZ whooping up on the EX, that will be seen after it's out....until then let's quit digging a hole for it to get out of.

I'm with dual-sporter. No point in trying to predict which is better until they actually come out.
I was all for running out and putting my money down on a new Quad Sport but then after some time I decided it would be better to wait at least a year and see what happens in the sport market. Right now, on paper the Suzuki looks like it will be the best 400 but Kawi hasn't yet released a machine (if they do?) and Yamaha only has the Warrior to compete in the 400 class. I'm going to tweak my Mojave in the meantime and wait at least a year to see where things shake out. I like Suzuki quads and first started off on them but I wonder if one of the other manufacturers has something up their sleve?
I just look at what happened to Kawi and the V-twin 650. One month it is the biggest then seemingly a month or two later Yamaha is the biggest and then Polaris releases an even larger machine. Not saying the Kawi's not good but all of the sudden there are three choices rather than one.
