I am thinking about buying a Lt 500 off a friend. Its beaten pretty bad but i can get it for a cheap price. If I get it I will build it up for racin. Are they any good at flat track racin and what class would it be in??

 

Well we run modded banshees, raptors, 400ex and some other older bikes all in one class at our local flattrack. theres one lt500 that turns up every nite. he is given a handicap start, half way around the last corner and he still wins. probably why i bought mine hehe. I hope to kick his butt...LT500 = power-a-plenty = speed. just get it to handle and you'll win. depending on your class set up of course.
