Go to a dealer and get one of their crates that they get when they receive new quads. Contact www.fowardair.com Nobody ships for less, NOBODY!!!!! One downside. They wait till the truck is full and then ship. Could take up to a month to get there. Could take a week just depends. You must take it to their terminal. You can ship a banshee from San Fran to Boston for about 175 or less..........

Forwardair is a real good company to get it done with. But the month thing??? They actually have a schedule on their website. It is usually no more than a week. I sent one from PA to CA and it cost about $220. It was a Banshee weighing in at about 500# total with crate. Speaking of crate, make sure you get one with sides and a top. Most shipping companies will not insure the freight if it isn't fully enclosed (hard sides, not stretch wrap). Keep the crate as small as possible. Forwardair charges by actual weight or dimensional weight, which ever is greater. Actual weight on mine was 500#, but I got charged by dimensional weight of 650# (9'x4'x4').
