Vegas quadracer How do you like your FMF pipe? As soon as the snow melts I'll try on an FMF pipe for the first time.

quadwoody!! I got the pipe for free. Just thought I'd try it on. It's crap you say? Did it make a difference on the power?

The FMF cracks cause the 85-86 zuki's have no counterbalancer. You need to mount that pipe on 1/2" of rubber. Mine on my 90 has no problems. IT looks and runs good. Oh yeah, I am 21 and I make electromagnet coils and alternators.

hey norm, if you got the pipe for free then use it by all means, but i have just been unhappy with my pipes. I have heard other people's FMF pipes have cracked too. this is the second FMF fatty gold i've had on there the first i got for free too, both cracked in the same spot.I just didn't want you to spend your oney on them and they break. but Like what ProtegeDK said the '85's pipes are not mounted the best. Also the FMF's give you more mid to hi range. I like them they just aren't built tuff enough for me. ProtegeDK what did you mean on a half inch of rubber?

I'm 55 and have a good job. Will retire in 5 months so I can ride my quad all the time. I wish I was 17 and needed a job.
