Greg... that is the only thing I miss in Texas lol I live in Oklahoma now so there is all kinds of places to ride. If you ever get the chance come ride at lil Sahara.. it is awsome. There is a huge ride coming up memorial day. I know I will be there.

I would love to come but I do not have a sport bike. Jason is going to race his banshee and says I can borrow his 650... it is under consideration. We are riding at Broken Bow the weekend of the 8-10 of March. We are staying at the whipperwill cabin #14. You are welcome to join us... the kids and wives are coming too.

stock zilla and piped raptor are real close. Stock zilla will make about 51 hp and stock raptor about 35. Raptors respond very well to pipes and Ct's pipe kit brings them up to 50 hp but they are still heavier but it would be close. When my zilla just had a lrd pipe and 39 mm carb it toasted many piped raptors easily.

OK! OK!
looks like I opened up a can of worms here...
anyways, let's take the scientific approach"
(IF) a stock Zilla puts out 51 rwhp... and in the latest issue of dirtwheels the best Raptor pipe tested put out 46 rwhp... THEN it should technically be a power-to-weight ratio of what quad SHOULD BE faster... and I assume the Zilla is slightly lighter than a Raptor; therefor, with 4 more rwhp and weighing in at a few less pounds, the Zilla should prevail, and thus, you have the answer to my question... HYPOTHETICALLY speaking of course

What is funny is that you knew the answer to your own question...heck you posted it in another forum to. Heh I guess you like to see how you can get people stirred up. You never did answer my question though...why pavment instead of sand or dirt. I am curious of why that surface. In your oppinion of course.

with pavement, there is no loss of power... once power gets to the real wheels
in dirt, or sand... most of the emphasis is on traction control.... who has the best tires
I don't want tires to be a factor.... obviously, you could have a punched-out Zilla on nitrous with bald tires.... and it wouldn't do squat to a stock Yamaha Blaster with paddles on it...
see... that's why I wanted to take traction out of the picture...
now all you have to do is keep the front end on the gound!!! LOL
