No contest, spend the extra $500 and get the Ozark. By the reviews here and in the newest ATV Action, it looks like the Ozark will even beat out the Recon in a shootout. The Kawi is no contest, strictly utility vs the Ozark sport/utility.

Jaybee is right. The Bayou 220 is a good quad but it does not like to be sport ridden. My Recon outperforms it when pushed at all. The Ozark looks great, just saw 2 today at the races. If it is as good or better than the Recon, BUY IT!!! I just discovered the joys of jumping quads and the front shocks and springs on the Bayou 220 are already bottoming out. The Recon has no problem! Good Luck!

I believe the Ozark has slightly more. I saw a stat comparision somewhere and the Suzuki stacked up real well. I love mid size quads and will consider the Ozark for purchase in the future. It would be very hard to top the Recon. There are lots of mods and upgrades for the Recon and I have seen reports of some folks having good results. After the Ozark is out a while I'm sure the aftermarket will be all over it with cool parts to upgrade with. The Ozark is now a first year new design quad but if any one can get it right, Suzuki can. The Recon was all new a few years back and no big problems were had with it. It seems that sport quads have the most first year bugs and trail/utility quads fare much better at introduction. Good Luck.

Yes, go with the Suzuki. Set on the new Suzuki last week and it was just as nice feeling as the Recon. Kawasaki should have put double A Arms up front. When you get going fast on the Kawasaki it can get very upsetting if hit at an odd angle.

My Dealer here on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi has Yellow, Green, and Red in stock. THey just got them though... Might take a little longer to get them in where you are.

Hope this helps.

monteSS,
The one I set on last week was a red one. I am sure the big brown truck is headed your way with a red one.
