Sup yo i just wanted to know which quad has more power a Z400 or a 400EX.. and what is the top speed of a Z400 thanks

 

neither are powerful. if you need power check out the kasea skyhawk 150! they'll rip your arms off!

 

shoot yeah!! i got on one of those skyhawk 150's, and after 5 minutes, i had to get off, scared the bu'jesus outa me!! those things haul ****!!! i had to go get back on my 250R so i wouldnt hurt myself on the kasea!!! for even more power, check out those honda fourtrax 90's,,,,, they haul too!

 

Its obvious you guys have no idea what your talking about. Its a proven fact that the 250ex it that fastest quad hands down it can beat every production quad to date, on the trail track or top speed it doesnt even matter. It also has the best suspension ever made. At least thats what the 250ex guys keep on telling me!!!

 

As far as power I would have to say the Z400 would. It is the engine taken out of the DRZ400 dirtbike and the 400ex has an engine taken out of the XR400 dirtbike. The DRZ has a hotter motor than the XR. But yet it all depends on engine mods. There are more mods for the XR as of right now. But the engine mods can be more dramitic on the DRZ. I talked to a motorcycle flattracker about his DRZ engine and all he had done was change cam timing.

 

Stock to stock- the Z400 has 40-45hp while the 400ex has only 28hp. As for top speed, the Z400 will probably smoke the 400ex!

 

The Z400 will only have 35-37hp tops.

If it does only have 37hp tops, its still more then 400ex

 

Sup Micky, I've heard from a local Suzuki source that with a simple cobra pipe and dynomax muffler bearings the Z400 will eat ANYTHING !!! Even twin turbo Banshees running alcohol and nitrous !!!
