Are you happy with your Vinson?
#1
I am interested in buying a Vinson for my wife, She has a Kawasaki Praire 650 with 53 hours on it and the drive belt has been replaced twice, adjusted 3 times and the clutch has gone out, and it is a gas hog. Is the vinson sporty? I have heard of a shifting problem has this been fixed also how is the mileage. Thanks for any input you may have

Other than an occasional problem changing gears my Vinson works great. It dosent have as much power as the Prarie but seems to have plenty to power slide corners in 2WD. The Vinson engine
& tranny are well proven in the Arctic Cat. I researched both Vinson & Prarie then chose the Vinson for reliability. The Prarie seems to have some problems. (maybe too much power for
the belt) I am well satisfied with mine, getting 20 MPG. (best seat ive ever sat on)
GOOD LUCK

Very satisfied with the Vinson so far. I have only put about 110 miles on it, but the fuel mileage is good and no problems with the shifter. It is a little stiff at times, but nothing I can't live with. My wife has ridden it and really likes it. Rider comfort and ergonomics are spot on. Good power for it's size and very sporty to ride in 2wd. If you read the magazine reviews, they all say it's a winner. It was even chosen the best in the 500cc class and best sport-utility. Suzuki is even offering 2.95% financing for 60 months.
