I'm going to buy one or the other. One thing that might keep me from buying an Eiger is the 2 speed sub trans., more stuff to go wrong. I like the big bears handling, light and easy. I know what you Eiger owners choose, tell me what you like or don't like about your Eiger. Thanks for your input. Undecided!

I ride both the Prairie 650 and an Eiger and honestly I cannot find anything that I don't like about the Eiger. Yep it has less power than the 650 but it isn't as noticeable as I thought it would be, especially after you've ridden it for a few minutes. The steering is light and in the slow technical stuff it is easier to ride than the 650. Even though it is only 15lbs lighter and physically the same size. It feels more torquey off idle than the 650, but that could be a jetting problem with the Kaw. We live and ride at 6500 feet.
My Eiger is actually my wife's but I've ridden it quite a bit so that it got broken in properly. She rides too slow! There is one minor annoyance that we have both gotten used to and has become second nature now. It's an auto and sometimes the shifter can be a little balky. We learned to slightly rock the quad back and forth on its wheels and it will shift with no problem. I still haven't topped it out so I don't know for sure how fast it will run. I do know that it will do better than 45 (fastest I've had it so far)
Of all the single cylinder Quads I tested the Eiger had the least vibration of all. The Prairie 360 had the worst! It was really, really bad.

Have you purchased an ATV yet? If not, look at the Arctic Cat 375. Same engine as the Eiger, but on a stronger frame and has more clearance. The Cat only comes in an automatic. It also has a rear end setup more like a truck where the axle can twist. So it is more like a independant setup with less moving parts.
