Were are looking at the 50cc model for our 3yr. old, the handle bars/grips/brake levers/floorboards/seat height are all great for the little folks from what I've seen.
Any feedback on this model would be great!

Thanks,
Tony

hey tony,i've had our 50 now for almost a year now,it's been a great runner and has stood the abuse of my 5 year old who is a real hellion,he is also an excellent rider, after two weeksi took the restrictor out of the exhaust for him to give him a little more adventure, you can't hurt the thing that's for sure, heck even with the air filter half clogged it would still crank up on no more than 2 pulls.[we live in dusty area,no rain for awhile].i'm sure your youngin will enjoy it,i got some other mods you can do to it if you havn't already,i've been able to sqeeze out about another 500 to 750 rpm and the little thing will top out at 21 mph,not bad since it only did 16-17 mph with restictor out!good luck swampkat40

Swampkat,
It will be alittle before we pull the restrictions off, but what else did you do to get 21 mph out of the 50?

when we first got our 50,the little thing would barely move and once it did would only do around 5.0mph,With the exhaust restrictor removed not only will it have increased top end but more bottom to get going, but the good thing is you can still limit speed at throttle adjuster like i did,to start out, like right now i have it at it's lowest setting so my soon to be 4 year old can get aqainted with atving,he just graduated from his ninja powerwheels, anywaytops unlimited is around 16 on flat ground without restictor in exhaust.when your ready ,remove spark arrestor from exhaust, this little thing will never throw a spark, then you can remove carb and move needle up to it's last step on shaft, also what i did is to make 4 3/8's holes on breather cover for more air for when i get a bigger jet for it someday,i keep holes in breather blocked off until then, the opening is set at factory for oe jet,so if you you open up the holes it starts leaning out at higher rpm's,also restricted is carb intake,on the carb side it's opened up around 1/2"to 3/4" for carb bore, but take it off and the side going to engine is alittle bigger than a coin slot on a coke machine, what i did was instaed of porting thing all the way open i just smoothed the opening up a little, but with a larger jet opening this intake will let it flow even better, resulting in increase,we go to a place called sugar hills, which is nothing but white sand, and the stock 50 would just bog and not move, after mods he can enjoy the sand along with all of us!but anyway,on anymotor it's easy in easy out, just make sure you increase jet size if you alter breather or intake.swampkat40 later.photos.yahoo.com/swampkat00

That's exactly what our 3 yr. old has...Powerwheels Ninja. He's grown very tried of it, but I'll say this, it's a great little runner! It was my oldest boys first, it's five years old and still runs very strong. Thanks for the info on the 50...at 5mph to start with, this will make me comfortable.
