HI everyone. I am new to this board and i need some help. I recently purchased a 1989 500 Quadracer and rebuilding it from the ground up. I know Dirty wheels and 4 wheel ATV action back in the late 80's and early 90's had lots of article write ups on this 4 wheeler. Modifcations that work and dont work along with stuff to help fix common problems with these machines. This is my 3rd one i have owned and i want to make this one cherry [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. If anyone has magazines that would help me out and wouuld be willing to sell them or get rid of them let me know. If not and you would be willing to photo copy articles for me it would be greatly appreciated. I would pay shipping for whole magazine or photo copies. I would love to learn as much as i can about this machine cause it really is an awesome machine.

 

Ebay have a bit of old mags on once in a while.

 

I checked Ebay. they have a couple but nothing that will help me out. Thanks for the suggestion though.

 

Sorry no mags...but if it's info you want? You might want to go to this web site. This guy bought a basket case and completely rebuilt it. He's got a lot of very helpfull hints and tips for the 500. He helped me a lot when I rebuilt my 87 500R.
