Thought this might get your attention!!! I have a few simple questions?

How do you like the chain adjustment set up on the Z400, walk us through it?
What is the deal with the hugh looking rear swing arm, looks wild!!!

What kind of gear combos are avaliable for the Z, what is the smallest gear that will be offered for the front? What is stock, front\rear?

What kind of bearing set up is in that weard looking swing arm, is it goeing to be better than the EX bearing carrier set-up? Or weaker?

Come on Z owners, quit holding out on us!!!(HaHa)

Thanks

"better" bearing setup compared to Honda type in my eyes. I like the slide adj. better, but it does require that you keep it clean for it to work smoothly. Have no clue about available gearing, sorry

Binfordw, what do you mean when you say "slide adjustment" elaborate, Is it like a dirt bike? The whole rear houseing slides, rather than a cam-like adjustment?

Someone, spell it out... and how about those gears?????

Yep, pretty much like a two wheeler. Its like a big rectangular block that is held tight by 4 bolts on the top, and has 2 adjuster bolts on the back of swingarm. I would say its gonna be nesseccary to keep the opening the "block" slides in clean so it doesn't want to jam with crud when you try to move it. I'll try to find a pic man, lata

I own both honda and suzuki 89 R's and the honda is much easier to adjust the chain. If you like to do things the hard way than to each his own.

It's hard to believe that Suzuki put so much thought in this quad and then put that POS!!!! chain adjuster on it

any one who thinks this is better then the Honda either doesn’t know the Honda or just likes doing things the hard way.
