Yes, the post was removed for 660man and some other 12 year old punk.

I also witnessed a Shee and LTZ race on a rolling start....Shee by a bike and a have. So wheel spin def. killed the Shee you raced.

And a LTZ faster than a Raptor!? LOL okay man....whatever you say. Are you sure you didn't post the "400ex vs Powerwheels" ?

And by the way- what makes you so sure it was wheelspin? So when the ones you saw races the Banshee never spun a tire?? LOL

I'm just saying its a close race- maybe the guy on the Z wasn't a good racer- anythings possible. But like I said in my deleted thread- its a close enough race that any Raptor/Banshee rider (stock, okay? ) that thinks its gonna be a cake walk has got another thing coming.

Were you dragging on the sand or on hardpack? On sand I might believe a Z400 taking a Banshee, but not hardpack (I'd have to see a video). I don't believe that any stock Z's will be schooling any stock Raptors any time soon... just my opinion.

Yes- it was a hardpack access road. We raced one time during the week on a "sand" bar- more like sand/peagravel though- it blew big time, but it seemed about even. I like hardpack much better to race on. And just for the record, I never said I COULD be ALL raptors, just that it seems like it would be close.- Escpecially bad since thats what the raptor is supposed to do well. Maybe I'll run into one sometime and get to see for myself.

By the way- I would'av thought the Banshee would be quicker in the sand, since its rev-happier and could maybe get more forward movment through tirespin- ? maybe I thought wrong on that though...

REMEMBER- we were only racing 300 to 400 ft, not all the way to top end, OKAY?

I suppose it depends on the tires in the sand, too.

I raced my buddy in the sand last year. He had a stock '00 Banshee and I had my '01 Raptor. I took him everytime, even when we did a rolling start. He knows how to ride and such, yet it seemed like the wheel spinning didn't help him much. You are right, the wheel spin in the sand wouldn't be near as much of an issue as on hardpack. I wrote that backwards... my bad.

I can believe the Z400 beat a stock Banshee. They are somewhat slow stock IMO and they rev up so much the tire spin is rediculous. I ride my friends stock banshee from time to time. Nice quads, but. Depending on rider ability the other guy could very well have beaten a stock raptor. Why would any of this be so hard to believe? Don't know why I'm getting into this thread. Yeah i wouldnt be surprised of a stock Z beat a shee or a raptor, i mean the raptor is like what, 660CCs and ONLY pumping out 33/34 HP stock....and the Z is 400CCs and pumping out 32/33....i mean, comeon.....260CCs bigger and only around 1HP more? Thats sad IMHO...kinda like the viper engine, 8.3liters and only pumping out 500 HP...
