I don't know about the Suzuki, but I bought a Polaris Trail Boss that the owner had lost the key for and I was unable to "hot wire" it. I took the ignition out and jumped across two wires on the back of it, it would turn over but wasn't getting any spark. I spent several evenings trouble shooting the electrical system before I gave in and bought a new ignition. The ignition cost me $42. It fired right up. Maybe someone else can tell you how to do it and get spark to the plug too. Then again, check the price of a new ignition or key, might save you alot of trouble and frustration.
