I finally got my z about a week ago and all I can say is SWWEEEEEET! Anywho I love everything about the quad right now except the g@y stock handlebars. Does anyone know if there's any aftermarket bars out yet. I would imagine there would have to be some kind of a kit to or something since the key, reverse, nuetral, and warning lights are on handelbars. I've looked around and the only thing I could find for the z so far is shockwears. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Renthal ATV bars or Tag Metals. Check with your dealer.

Thats one of the first things I noticed when I rode the Z400. The handle bars are way to narrow. Any aftermarket handlebars will work since you can just hook that plastic peice in the middle up to the aftermarkets the same way you would the stockers. The easiest and cheapest way to go w/o loosing quality and gaining weight would be to buy any kind of Renthal or TAG or some aluminum handle bar like that, that isn't a "Fat Bar". If you buy a fat bar you will have to buy a clamp kit because the bars will be to fat to fit in the stock clamps. Just get some regular Renthal handlebars (everyone sells them) and they only cost like $59.99. They are good quality and light weight.

Oh and the only reason they list the different kind of bikes/quads is to get the same bend. That doesn't mean you can't buy some Cr low bend bars, or something like that.

Tag are probably burning the midnight oil making a clamp to get all the buttons lights and keys off the bars right now...

Yo, what do you mean about the bars being narrow they are 1 inch wider than stock c-dales.

I really noticed mine right off too. I don't mine the feel but I really don't care for the look. I might go pick up another set of MSR bars with the padded middle bar for looks and safety.
