I just purchased a new vinson and are already having problems.

the second time a washed it i apparently got water up by the fuse box and when it was in neutral or park it would make a grinding noise. eventually i got it all drained out and dryed off and the problem disappeared. one of the problems is that the drain hole gets plugged with mud very easily and water will accumulate.i am thinking about drilling bigger holes so the water can drain and not get plugged with water so easy??

the third time i washed it the starter started dragging, no matter what gear or tranny selection. for some strange reason latter tonight it quite doing that.

any imput would be great on these problems

seems to me like the front brakes are real soft unless you jam on the binders the front brakes do a real poor job........air in the lines??

this new shifter kit.... how can one tell if it has actually been installed as the dealer assured us it was before we picked it up, however, mine shifts like crap as far as i am concerned. so i am thinking it was not installed.

overall the bike has been great but these little things are really starting to bug me. i have been riding atvs for 25years and never had this much trouble........maybe make a shift back to HONDA!

oh yeah, the tube that hangs down from the air box the water level check thing.......mine keeps getting mud in it?? i have not even swamped the beast yet. and talk about a pain in the butt to get the top of the airbox off, any suggestions would be helpful here. i did drill a small hole in that tube so excess moisture can drain out.

Well they do come with a warranty you know. Take it back and let them fix it.

I know how you feel, I just bought a brand new Eiger and it stalls out on, hills etc. I'm very disappointed with it. Yamaha has marine grade electrical on it's atv's. Anyway, at least I have my Kodiak to ride while the Suzuki sits in the shop. I guess that's what I get for straying. Anyway, I really liked this bike but just disgusted with it right now after it stalled on a hill and almost killed me.
