What do you all think about this?

I think its a rip-off. I love my Z, its a great quad, but I don't like Suzuki/Kawi pulling this on their customers.. Why BOTHER? They act as if we won't notice they are the same quad?

I have NOTHING against kawasaki, If I was a Kawi fan, I would be po'd good 'ol team green "sold out" to its fans and did this..

 

We have seen no proof the green LTZ yet. So lets wait and see. I think its all a trick someone is pulling.

You can see a hint of yellow under the left front fender.

 

My dealer is a Kawasaki, Suzuki and KTM dealer. One green may take away from the yellow sales for him, but just wait until they build the 520 ktm quad, then he will have something to compete against the Connondales with. I still like my Z400, even if I am not able to ride it at this time.

And what do you mean "take away" sales? If he sells BOTH brands, he isn't losing squat.?

 

The magazines are full of it. Don't believe anything they say.

the first results of the Suzuki-Kawasaki alliance announced last year will be landing in Australian showrooms about now.

For this initial phase Suzuki will soon offer three Kawasaki-built products rebadged for the Australian market, the Suzuki DR-Z110K3 (KLX110-A1), the Suzuki RM65K3 (KX65-B1) and the Suzuki RM100K3 (KX100-E1).

Kawasaki, meantime, will add seven Suzuki-built motorcycles to its Australian range.

They are the Kawasaki KLX125-A1 (Suzuki DR-Z-125K3), KLX125-B2 (Suzuki DR-Z125LK3), KLX400-B1 (Suzuki DR-Z400EK3 - pictured), KDX50-A1 (Suzuki JR50K3), KFX400-A1 (Suzuki LT-Z400K3 - see below), KSF50-A1 (Suzuki LT-A50K3), and KSF80-A1 (Suzuki LT80K3).

We're told that premium bikes such as GSX-R and ZX-R,RM and KX series are unlikely to be shared.

No horsepower figures, but we're told it weighs 169 kilos, runs a close-ratio five-speed (plus reverse) trannie and we're more than a tad curious to see what happens when you use one in anger.
