It will have a locker front, with similar electronics as the Vinson. It also sports 8 inches of wheel travel front and rear. Claimed 48 RWHP with GOBS of torque out of this V-twin based on the successful Prairie 650. Extra low gear for rock crawling. Will also be available in both auto or 4-speed manual configurations. The frame will be a hydro-formed aircraft aluminum box style frame with full protection on critical areas such as A-arms and under the frame. Other light weight componentry will include hollow drive shafts, hollow crankshaft, aluminum rims, A-arms and a beefed up version of the swing-arm found on the Prairie 650. Claimed dry weight is 579 lbs.

And now that I made all of this up, what else can anyone else add to the list that they would like to see on a new Suzuki Ute? Sorry if I had you guys going. It's all in fun.

Who is gonna use 48rwhp in a utility quad? I cleaned up your signature and removed that nasty little "for sale" ad as well. Later.

first of all, my apologies about the need to edit my profile. Second, the 48 RWHP is just something that I would love to have in a machine that can not only do well in the woods, mud, and at work, but keep up to the sport machines as well. There are a select few such as myself that could make use of a machine such as this. One other feature I would like to see is a built in GPS/Global Mapping system for those trecks into unfamiliar territory when those trees start looking the same. A good set of 4-ply tires would be a plus as well instead of the standard issue 2-ply's.
