alright i have pretty much decided to get the z400 over the 400ex but i need to know one more thing are they good in the mud because like most of my friends have 4 by 4 so they like to go throught the mud so i go with and my warrior can stick with them and doesnt really get waterlogged unless the water is over the plastic. and i know that the 400ex is good in mud so what about the z400

I took my Z in some mud last weekend and it was pretty fun. I never got stuck but then again the mud was never deep. I wouldn't see why the Z would be any worse or better than the 400ex. The tires are the same, clearance is the same, tons of power to turn the tires, so I don't see how it would be much different than a 400ex. Get the Z and enjoy life, your going to love it !!!

It muds awesome! I have done some water crossings too, nothin too deep, over a foot deep anyhow. I went fast, no problems, I went slow, no problems. The only thing about the mud is clearance issues when I got into ruts. Throw on some 22's and that'll help. I had lots of fun in the muck with no problems what so ever. It rocked and can't wait to get dirty again, oh wait, I'm doing it tomorrow, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
peace

P.S. Can you tell, I still totally love my Z?

Vooduuchild, did you have any problems getting that mud out of the radiator with the cover around it? Just wondering.

Glad you still love it, hopefully I'll have mine next weekend!!!

Later.

Nea, the mud comes out real easy like. Ya get the mud in there goin slow, you blast it out by hitting some water crossings fast. But seriously, no, just hosed it out. I didn't actually seem to get much mud in there anyhow. You will not be disappointed when you get your new ride.
peace
