Yet ANOTHER Z400 Variation....New Artic Cat 400!!
#3
Oh my God. I can't believe it! Wow. I was reading dirt wheels today and they were talking about Kawi and Polaris both coming out with sport quads, only leaving Atctic Cat to follow suite one day or be pushed out of the sport quad area forever. Dang, they released it before the Polaris! Cool. Looks like my Z frame and stuff. Only a 376 cc motor, not a 399 CC though.

If anything, it secures that the Suzuki/Kawasaki/Arctic Cat Z400-based architecture will be around for years to come. Even if another (God forbid) consent decree scares the manufacturers into hiding again, enough common parts should be available for a long time.
Also, this could be the next basis for the aftermarket to launch off of (now that the 250R actually has competition).
I will be curious to see how many Z400-type machines that Suzuki/Kawasaki/Arctic Cat produce for 2004.

I think it's a great machine and all, but damn....can any of these manufacturers come up with an original idea?? It would be really cool if Kawasaki and Artic Cat would come up with something different. Is the Z400 becoming the minivan of quads?? (Dodge Carvan, Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Town and Country)
It will make for alot of aftermarket parts, and you'll be able to change the colors of your plastic easily. What does it say on your title when you buy one??? Kawasuzicat????
