Haven't been hearing much about the 'Zark since the Z hit the trails {finally}. I still love my Ozark. But I sure have my eye on a Z-400, maybe even a Kawi version. Whaddaya Ozark owners say? Still glad you bought the Ozark? Mine is getting faster the more I ride it. It spanks my Recon worse than at first!

My Wife's is doing great. Shifting is a little stiff but seems to be getting better with more hours. She only has about 8 hours on her's so far. I would like to put a set of Work's shocks on it to improve the trail riding somewhat. It's a rough ride for her compared to my Z.

My son says the same thing about the shifting on our Ozark too. It is stickier than the Recon, but nothing shifts as smooth as a Honda. It seems to be loosening up a bit though. We've got about 15-18 hrs. on ours so far. I'll put another 4-5 hrs on it this weekend!

If one of you would PLEASE check your air screws my wife insisted on taking it to the dealer and they said they adjusted the air screw and now it doesn't run right and it stalls when you give it throttle from a stand still. So if you would check your air screw I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks in advance.

First off, I'd be glad to check the air screw on mine but I don't know which one it is.

Secondly, why not just take it back to the dealer and complain? They messed it up so they should be responsible for fixing it.

And to bobcatv8 - I still like my Ozark but I'm really wishing I had waited for a Z400. The Finance Minister has decreed that we won't be buying any other quads any time soon so I don't forsee one coming to live in our garage.

I don't trust them at all any more and now finally my wife doesn't either I haven't been to a garage for 5 years other that inspection I do all my own work on my truck, 3 cars, 2 motor cycles, now Both ATV's and a bunch of other cars regurally ( parents, grand parents, inlaws, and siblings.

Any way the air jet screw is on the left side as you are sitting on it. To get at it real well you pop the 2 of the three pins on the side cover front 2 leave the back one and it will swing up out of the way. As you are looking at the carb there is a black rubber plug pop that and the air screw is right under it. Thanks agian it is greatly appreciated. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to check yesterday as my wife had me working in the yard all day.

I'll try to check tonight. What do you need, how many turns out they are from seated?
