I don't know what jets the Z400 takes, and I don't think a kit is out yet. I just ordered my HMF exhaust and want to remove the lid, but no one seems to have any jets.
What size do I need for the lid removal and slip on? I was told a .175 by HMF. Sounds kinda big.
Will the same jets that work in a DRZ400 work in the quad? Not sure o nthe two carbs. I need to get these ordered right away since my parts will be herre in a few days.

your dealer should have the jets, if not they can order them. i also got the hmf slip on and already have the k&n kit form alba. i actually havent asked my dealer but i will soon. 175 sounds a tad to big. i didnt ask about jetting i just told them to send me there reccomendations when they send out the pipe. from what i hear about the yoshi pipe its 152 to 155 main jet with that pipe.

 

What is the stock main jet size??

What jet is needed for no lid??

175 does sound big for the air box lid and pipe.....

stock jets size for a 04 is a 130# hmf says 175 with the hole pipe and a 170 with the slip on.

 

The Jet Kits have been out for a couple of years. I got a Dyno-Jet kit from Rocky Mountain. It comes with everything in it to do your carb right.
