Welp, I'd say buy some stronger axles and sprockets, my friend......

Put some bald tires on it.
That is going to be a problem. The Zilla stuff is pretty beefy already. The DS has what looks to be stronger but I dont know how you would mount it. Maybe aftermarket like Lonestar or durablue would be stronger? If you pull that R-1 motor out give me a email I have a lt motor waiting for a home. What did you do with the 500 motor? The lt original engine is in my basement being completly rebuilt with new parts,I think I am gonna keep the r1 in the zilla , and try a durablue axle with the warrenty so If i break it get a free one.

I also hav an lt250 kompletly re-done and a zilla engine witha a cracked head

Since your torque is all kept inline on a atv, there is no way in hell you can snap an axle under power. I would like to know what tires you are running. My hoosier can't hook like that. Man I need a set of those traction monsters for my street truck. I have yet to see an atv that gets enough traction on any surface that it can twist sprockets while keeping the front end from flipping over. You must be one hell of a rider.

In case you have seen a r1 engine in a atv (since I seriously doubt you own one), it would have to have a custom rear sprocket anyway. The R1 uses a 530 chain vs. the LT's 520. The chain is wider than the sprocket.

Lonestar doesn't offer a quadracer frame that I know of. I am sure they don't offer one for a R1 engine. The stock zilla frame would have to be severly cut up for this engine to fit. Motion Pro also doesn't offer a throttle cable yet for the R1.

I think you should keep your idiotic comments to yourself. I recommend you stop placing these non-productive posts, if you enjoy this forum.

I dont know what you are talking about but there have been more than 1 person I seen in mags that have these motors in a zilla frame. maybe that is the guys problem. the chain dont fit the sprocket or the sprocket dont fit right.

oh if your zilla head is cracked I recommend forking out the money for a cool head. my buddie put one on his zilla and it gave it a good boost. I dont know what size domes are in it tho.

Many people have done this mod with R1's GSXR's and so on. It is not a difficult task and just takes time. Maybe the bullsh!t is coming from the wrong side.

Did anyone ever think of asking for pictures? If a R1 zilla does exist, I'm sure the owner has pictures and will be quite proud to show them off!!!

Guys, i never meant that that engine wouldn't fit. You do have to do modifications to the frame though.

Less than an hour after I called bullsh!t on this post, he changed his sig. He now claims to have 3 entirely new bikes, the day after posting this thread. One of which, the 87 tri-z, was never produced.

The laws of physics are against a atv twisting an axle in half. I try to help people that ask for it. That is the reason I read this thread in the first place, he asked for help. I was tired of these type of posts, so I had to vent. Had he simply asked if the engine would work in the frame, then I probably wouldn't have replied. I am not here to start trouble, I was only irratated.

Sorry if I offended any of you,
Richard
