Raptor vs. Z400
#1
I need to know which quad to purchase. I do a little of everything with Drags, and Hillclimbs at the top of the list. I also do a lot of trails, some creeks, a little MX, and I like wheelies.
I like how the Z400 has SHim under bucket valves, and Double Overhead Cams, but I Drag against modified Raptors, and DS650s, and it is a little slow.
I like how big the aftermarket is for the Raptors, and I like how easy it is to wheelie. I also have a lot of friends who own Raptors, so technical advice, and help would be more avaliable. Some people say that the Raptor is heavy, but I ride a DS650. I don't like the rocker arms, but it's easier to adjust the valves. It is a little tippy, but I've ridden a Z, and they all feel the same.
I am leaning towards a Raptor, but I just hope the Raptor won't go out of style, with all these new quads comming in.
