Jason454,
Don't get me wrong, I like the Z a lot. But when it comes to plastic, I couldn't help but notice the Z sporting "Raptor-ish" front fenders. I don't think Suzuki would've given all for nothing, there must be something for them in the future or a different market we are not familiar with, agricultural, overseas.
You know, something like that.

Everything has 'raptorish' front fenders now. Even the blaster.

Here's my thoughts. I think it is a great marketing move. They basically get free advertising right now. They have been the forefront for AC for a long time and made money. Now they get a piece of Kawi's profits. What more could you ask for? They all are going to have trouble keeping with Yamaha's sport quads. I would say Suzuki was losing the Utility quad market as well. If both companies put their R&D together, then you will truely see some amazing machines.
As for the Z400 engine in the AC; yes I believe they are the SAME. However, lets look at the Z400 a little closer. Looks Raptorish in plastics, demensions are oh so close the the 400EX, but, "No one would copy some one elses designs, would they?"

Hi dangerousrider400,

I'm thinking about changing my mind to purchase the KFX400 that is coming out. When did your dealer tell you they are coming in?

Thanks,

The Kawasaki Z is the exact same quad as the Z400 except it is Green...Correct....

So WP is making a joke of it by saying he is going to get one ASAP

Raptor-ish fenders? Everybody should remember "who" copied "whom" first. 'Suzuki - First on four wheels' if I'm not mistaken...

Who really cares if one brands fenders look similar to another. Not me. I think the Raptor, Z-400 and KFX400 are great looking quads! I'm not and wouldn't be ashamed to own any of them.

I was wondering about why would the Kawi be faster. Suzuki has already gone through the trouble of getting emissions testing on the Z, so why spend the extra time and effort in the same year?

I first read the the AC was a 376CC, and the motor DID look different. Now, based on the new pics, it's the exact same motor as the Z.

Boys I am just joking. In ATV Action they state them as all having the same displacement. Only cosmetic differences.
