Z400 rev box?
#2
GT Thunder says they have one but it is $800, they say they are working on a cheaper one. It will only bump it up another 1000 RPM, is it really going to help? I guess if you race every little bit helps but for the average rider that is a lot of moolah to lay out.

Yosh blows and has completely dropped the ball on all of us. The 450 kit is delayed til the end of the year and the rev boxes aren't even completed yet. Hopefully White Bros. comes up with one or Harry might have a connection fron Trinity. The motor revs to the same weak 9000 but it just gets there quicker.

WP, am I hitting the rev limiter too? Here's the mods I've done so far.
1. Removes sound baffle from endcap.
2. Installed Uni filter
3. Removed airbox lid and snorkle cover.
4. Installed a 152.5 main jet.
This thing really rips now, but the engine sort of gurgles at high rpm. My last bike did this when the main was too high, and installing a smaller main solved the problem, so I tried a 145 main jet and it did the same thing. Is everyone else with a "breathing" z400 having these same symptoms?

Go bigger with your main and see how it goes. Even the people with Yosh's down here are going by the specs and they are too lean. Harry will be back on Friday and you can bet I will be on his a$$. It has to be ready for the Speed Sports show on the 16th and I have a race on the 24th.
