Finally got the Z opened up....I mean opened up. Before the powerband it feels a bit weak....but, once I hit the powerband, it pulls.....I mean it pulls hard. I gotta say, I am happy with it. I raced around with a few raptors this weekend and had no trouble keepin' up with them. We were on sandy/dirt trails, but none the less. I still have a straight axle though. That feels good.

What were you waiting for? Don't tell me, the break-in? That takes too long.

ben, that is s good question. i am not sure though. it hit at about 3/4 throttle. take it how you want. i will tell you this though, it pulled hard. great power. it was like a new machine.

wp, yes, i was waiting for the break in. actually, lately, i have only been riding on weekends. i live in the city of milwuakee. the bike is usually stored at my parents...which is an hour outside of the city. with my job, it is hard to ride during the week. anyway, i rode for about 8 solid hours without crackin' it over 3/4 throttle. this last weekend, i opened her up on a stone road. she pulls. i am very happy with the machine. besides the axle, which is now fixed, i am very happy. the dealer did a good job of getting it done. it was done in a few days.

I see you got your axle replaced, was it under warranty? I got my axle replaced and I still have a wobble, I didn't even ride it after it got fixed! How is yours? When I say wobble I mean a very slight wobble, it has no affect on the quad. Do you have any wobble whats so ever in your tires?

bb-

yes, i got my axle covered under warranty. at first, my dealer did not want to cover it....he, of course, wanted me to buy an aftermarket axle. but, i told him that i did not want or have to spend more money on this thing. long story short........he called zuki and they said they would cover it. i found out mine was bent becuase my rear brake was squeeking. i never had a wobble like you explained. take it back and tell them to find out what is causing the wobble. take care.
