if you decide to get a z400 and use it off road BE VERY CAREFULL not to hit anything
OR ELSE THE FRAME WILL BEND.and if it does don't bother calling suzuki because
they will patronize you and not cover the damage to a SH*&%Y DESIGNED FRAME!
oh yeah if you have stress marks with missing paint........sorry not covered
i really would like to sue them to cover it,but how do you sue suzuki?
soo BUYER BEWARE!!if this turns out to be a serious problem for the z i hope a class action lawsuit will force them to stand by a junk design!

What happend to you're great quote,"If it enda in an A it gets blown away." then the "TRUTH HURTS..
OH AND BY THE WAY,GETTING SMOKED BY A Z HURTS TOO" I guess if the frame is bent you will not be blowing any Hondas away any time soon.LMAO at you for the stupidity.

I've already hit a couple stumps at 20+ mph with no problems to speak of yet. How fast were you going? I guess if you hit anything fast enough you'll waste your ride.....

about 2nd gear.
not too fast,i only have a SLIGHT bend where the oil tank skid is ,you really have to look hard to notice the bend.just bothers me that other brands reinforce at that point and suzuki did not.
p.s.
the bend doesn't affect the ride at all

It definetly concerns me to hear about all of the bend problems on here. I guess sooooooo far I've been lucky not to screw mine up yet. I image if the problems continue Suzuki will have to admit it and fix them. Otherwise, their sales will go to $h!t along with the Kaws and ACats too. Anyhow, watch out for things popping up in your path and enjoy the ride.

How can you say the frame is bent? If it doesn't affect the ride quality in anyway then its not bent! You dinged your frame, plain and simple. It happens to all quads. Look on the bottom of any 4x4 truck or quad and you will see metal that is carved out from the frame, LOOK I BENT MY FRAME!!! Unless you totally crunched the frame so the tubes make contact with each other then the frame is OK. Show us a picture of your bent frame, I want to see it. As far as stress marks go, I doubt the frame is bending that much to make the paint come off. You hear someone say their quad has a bent frame and the paint is coming off and he says it must be frame stress then you go and copy what he says making this a much bigger problem than it is. I think its just crappy paint used on all of todays vehicles. I'm just venting here, I see people talking about bent frames and how they are going to sue. WTF? Sue? Why the hell would you want to sue? Either it was rider error or you just hit something just right or maybe it was a manufacturer defect. Accept it, don't sue. Jesus christ, it seems like all you American's do is sue each other(not a shot but a fact you pick up after many years of American news on TV.)

Sorry if I made some of you mad.

Lol how could anyone sue suzuki when they hit whatever it was they hit. They can just blame it on rider error its not their fault that the rider had an accident.

Totally agree with the above post. Had another guy on here that bent his frame and blamed Suzuki. I blasted him and damn near started a war. What gives? The guy even stated he came up short on a jump.

I searched high and far on the internet for additional info on bent Z frames. I couldn't find anything anywhere. I'm not having any problems and don't plan on any either.

You crash, you can expect to pay the cost. Same goes for an auto, you can't blame GM or Ford if you run a red light a blast into someone and you F'up your ride. Pay attention to your environment and know the layout before you go BALZ OUT!!! Happy flyin'
